Off THE MAINSTREAM

A small water based project:

I’m fascinated with chemical reaction within photography.

In 2020 I began to work with natural plant dyes.

I started working with specific fine art paper to study the vibrancy of plant dye and its reaction to photosensitive emulsions.

The image below is the beginning of my research.

It was submitted to ‘Off The Mainstream’ open call.

A publication focusing on the waterways of Britain.

The final product resulted in a book printed on algae based paper stock.
